Highlighting and Cutting My Hair.

Hey guys!

I thought I would write up an update about my hair and about what’s changed. One of the looks I have always really liked was the blonde/highlighted look of curly hair. There are a lot of curly girls who have done this look. Me, however, i didn’t feel like I could do this. That is down to some self-esteem issues, but In April I finally took the plunge!! I went to my usual hair Salon (Made Hair & Beauty) in Sheffield that caters toward women with afro hair, and I was pleased they also use Olaplex! My hair turned out so different to what I thought it was going to be (in a good way!) I was really pleased with the results. I have written a blog post about my A and the salon as a whole, make sure to check that out!! Here is a process of my hair in that last couple of months

Additionally, I thought I would share with you guys some pictures of the cut I got at 3thirty in Shoreditch,London. I chose this place because The London Curls got her hair done there and it looked fab. I have written a separate blog post about my experience, where I detail about what I asked for and if i got it so please check that out. Salon reviews  will be something I will be doing in the future, writing about my experiences at salons I think is a great way to get the word out about great places for afro hair.

Additionally, hair up keep is a must, and I am using the Provoke touch of silver Brightening Shampoo(toner) and the colour care shampoo Which I will review. I think I want to branch out and try some other products for my colour, I really hate the brassy tones and wish to keep away from them, I have had them a lot in the past.

And finally I will be getting some more highlights in summer, so keep tuned as I will be posting about it!

Love Emma
