Review: Organic Surge – 2 minute moisture mask

The packaging is not lying. 2 minutes does the job.

Organic Surge is an organic brand I’ve been wanting to try for some while now and I’ve been in need of a new hair mask to replenish my curls so while browsing TK MAXX I decided to give this brand a go. TK MAXX stock a lot of their products for very cheap prices! you can’t go wrong. On their website they claim:

Organic Surge products are NOT tested on animals and are 100% free of harsh chemicals – no parabens, sodium lauryl sulphate, no artificial fragrances or colourants and no genetically modified ingredients

The key ingredients are:

  • COCONUT OIL – Naturally nourishing, high in antioxidants
  • BLACK PEPPER ESSENTIAL OIL – Stimulates circulation around the hair follicle
  • SWEET ORANGE – Naturally eliminates toxins

Being sold and marketed as a 2-minute mask I  was interested to know if this would live up to its literal name. And it sure does. I have used this while in the bath after washing my hair, and straight away I could feel the effects and my hair became soft, manageable enough to detangle. which is great! I can see this being great for more curly hair types as well.

The consistency is very thin and fine, leading you to believe it might not be as effective. But trust me it feels like I have dolloped a load on my hair and it weighs it down pretty quick. In the end, it leaves my hair shiny and moisturised! would highly recommend for those girls who are eco-friendly and looking for something instantly moisturising for their locks.
