Face Masks I Own And Use

I lovvve face masks. I’m surprised I don’t own more of them. But I think i’m secretly starting to add more to my collection. I like to do a face mask/treatment twice a week. Sunday, mid-week Wednesday if I can and sometimes a face sheet on a Friday night to end the working week. But here is a concise list of what I currently own.

Firstly here is a list of my main skin concerns and I will explain why I use each products.

  • Blackheads/Pores
  • Dehydration/ Excess Sebum
  • Hormonal Blemishes/Scarring

Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Charcoal Mask

A charcoal mask is a must. These are the kind of masks I feel make a real difference in regards to blackheads and really extracting any dirt from the skin. You can see all the bumps when this sets which can sometimes be horrifying but also satisfying. The Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Charcoal Mask has been a great staple in my collection. It feels like silk on the skin and makes my skin feel the best after using.

Glossier Mega Greens Galaxy Pack

If you did not already know I’m aboard the hype train called Glossier. And I decided some months back to try this out and it has still lasted me. I was attracted to the little beads as I knew they would be a great way to gently exfoliate the skin. As the masks dries it sinks into the skin and it feels very fresh after! A great surge of TLC.

Boscia Luminising Pink Charcoal Mask

I treated myself to this ‘peel off’ mask in Sephora from my NY trip this Feb. The packaging was pink so I was won over very instantly And the idea of  peeling this off a mask sounds so easy and satisfying to me. This Boscia mask does a great job similar to the Clinique one which I also alternate between. I definitely feel like I have stripped a dead layer of dull skin off when I am gently peeling this off my skin. If your too lazy for a charcoal mask or masks in general, a peel off one is a great alternative low maintenance kind of mask.

Sheet masks are the latest craze in the skincare world. If you don’t have one in your cupboard your missing out on a treat for yourself. I don’t have any particular faves, I used to just pick up ones I see from TK MAXX(I was using the Jeju Natural Volcanic Ash Facial Masks). The highstreet is now on board also and Garnier are taking the reigns.I got the Garnier Moisture Bomb Chamomile Hydrating Face Sheet Mask. So far so good! I love to use a sheet mask at the end of the week to boost some hydration in my face after commuting underground all week for work.

Great post! Those masks sound really nice, I might try out the Garnier one! I would recommend the Amie ‘Spring clean’ deep cleansing mask or their cooling clay mask. Both are clay based and although this brand is originally aimed at teenagers I found these masks to really help with acne and redness – would definitely recommend! x
