I started using the @breadbeautysupply Hair Oil, it’s marketed as a multi purpose oil that provides a anti greasy and pro-glossy feel. They used the term ‘dewiest looking strands’ I’ve never seen that description before for a hair oil and found it interesting and wondered if it was the same as achieving that ‘wet look’ - I used to hate that look but using this I loved how my curls look! It was hard to get a decent pic but in real life I felt my hair looked big and glossy for sure.

Do you like ‘Dewy curls’ or the wet curl look???

NEW WEBSITE 💫

Been working on refreshing and streamlining my blog these past two weeks and finally got to a solid place i’m happy with! I started my blog 8 years ago so it’s been a steady journey and comfort place to check in and update over the years. Things looked a lot different 8 years ago in boots and Superdrug, the UK curly hair movement hadn’t reached the peak spotlight and uk curly hair products and curly hair salons were not a common thing let alone where to find them.

My goals has always been to give access and information to those who don’t have it in their real world vicinity like I did. I grew up and on the internet. And while Instagram has been a great tool to connect to the community, my blog feels like a safe space I can give back to without the modern anxieties that we face with sharing on social media. Essentially I want to have my blog as a base and to expand the blog as a resource. There are some little tweaks i’m sure will come but for now it’s open to all!
